Hi Ya’ll!
We’re Ken and Rita Moffitt and
we’re proud to say we are your new 2007-2008 Region D Couple
of the Year,
The four years that we have been
GWRRA members have been incredible and truly life changing.
We started out in 2003 as uninvolved members of Chapter J,
Michigan. That quickly changed as we assumed the duties of
Goodies People, ACD’s, Event Coordinators, Chapter Couple of
the Year, then Michigan District Couple of the Year. We have
met literally hundreds of members and have been warmly
welcomed everywhere we’ve been. Every time we thought it
couldn’t get better, it did. Now we are given the honor of
representing Region D as their "Couple of the Year". The
selection process was exciting as the Ohio and Indiana
couples are truly wonderful and it has certainly been a
pleasure getting to know them.
We strongly believe in the
Couple of the Year Program and intend to dedicate this
coming year emphasizing it and stressing its importance to a
thriving and successful chapter. In promoting the program,
we hope to clarify and dispel any misconceptions there may
be as well as sharing how much fun it is. We welcome the
opportunity to speak about the program at any of your
gatherings, Officers Meetings, Rendezvous’, Seminars, etc.
just let us know. We would love to see Region D have more
Couples of the Year than any other Region. We believe that
if that happens, you will find that we also have the most
active and successful chapters of all the Regions.
We are very grateful to all the
members who have supported us and we look forward to
competing at Wing Ding 2008 in Greenville. Let’s bring it
back to Region D!
